How Did Early Men Travel?

17-Sep-2020:

Do you know how did early men travel?

Well, I know they would walk.

Before the discovery of wheels, the early men used to travel on foot. If they are tired, they would camp and rest in it.

A few decades after…

They began travelling on camels and horses.

Soon after, ancient Greeks invented wheels.

They made bullock carts that were used to travel and carry loads.

At the time of a few great kings, the Egyptians invented chariot. It was used mostly by kings.

At the same time; camels, horses and bullock carts were also used.

Then in the 8,000 years BCE the Pesse Canoe boat was invented by a local farmer. It was used to carry loads and also to sail across the sea.

Nowadays travelling is easy because we have car, bikes, scooters, aeroplanes, boats, ships, helicopters, etc.

We have also forgotten of our old tradition and culture of travelling.

I hope this reminded you about the old culture and tradition of travelling.
